First Lady Chiquita Mays

Evangelist Chiquita Mays is an awesome woman of God, a Pastor, a wife and a mother. She was saved under the ministry of Pastor Otis Lockett at Evangel Fellowship COGIC in Greensboro, NC. There she served faithfully in the youth, outreach and intercessory prayer ministries. Pastor Willie Mays Jr. & Co-Pastor Evangelist Chiquita Mays purchased a small building that was formerly used to perform abortions. Inside they developed a non-denominational, Spirit-filled Christian church from a group of four, which had previously been meeting in their home. The Mays served this ministry faithfully for over 5 year

Women Anointed to Reign, or WAR, was also founded by Co-Pastor Mays as a Woman’s Outreach Ministry. She is the author of “Warring Women” which can be purchased at the church bookstore. Women Anointed to Reign meet the 3rd Monday of the month at 7:00 pm for Anointed Café, where Pastor Chiquita teaches Gods Word, specifically pertaining to women’s issues to meet women’s needs. Community outreach projects such as the annual conference, food & clothing pantry and annual holiday party providing food and gifts to woman and children in need are all performed as a way to bring Gods word out to the community outside of the church’s four walls.

Although young in years, God has anointed her to expound on the scriptures and bring deliverance to others. She has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University. She has completed course in Theology International Seminary.

Pastor Willie E. Mays Jr. & Co-Pastor Chiquita Mays are the parents of two beautiful daughters Ja’el and Jai’dyn who they are training up in the ways of the Lord.
